Skin and Coat Health: Castor oil is known for its ability to soothe dry and scaly skin, moisturize, and aid in healing skin lesions due to its emollient and antibacterial properties. It can also promote hair growth and thicken the manes and tails of horses. Wound Care: Castor oil has been utilized in the treatment of wounds due to its potential antibacterial and healing effects. Research suggests it can act against various bacteria, maintain wound moisture, and accelerate the healing process.
